Mindfulness cultivates stillness and self-awareness, allowing us to observe and connect with our inner selves. On the other hand, breathwork harnesses the power of conscious breathing to energize, heal, and release emotional blockages. Done together they become powerful tools to focus the present. This helps us manage stress, reduces negative thinking,, manages anxiety and depression and even helps with pain relief.

A weekly practice anchors these practices so you can make being present in the body, mind and spirit your default state!

Shamanic meditation is a spiritual practice that draws on the ancient traditions of shamanism. Shamanism is a practice that involves a practitioner, known as a shaman, entering altered states of consciousness to connect with the spirit world in order to gain insight, guidance, and healing. In shamanic meditation, individuals seek to achieve similar altered states of consciousness through various techniques such as drumming, chanting, visualization, and breathwork.

During shamanic meditation, individuals may journey to different realms or dimensions, communicate with spirit guides, ancestors, or power animals, and receive messages or healing energies. The practice is often used for personal growth, self-discovery, healing, and spiritual development.

In this session Pooja will guide you to these altered states to connect to your spiritual power centres! Every week we will explore different connections to strengthen your spiritual toolkit!

Your Aura is your Electromagnetic field or our ‘spiritual skin’ that surrounds the body. The aura is our unique energetic boundary. However, due to unhealthy lifestyles, toxic relationships, stress, traumas, our aura picks up and exchanges energies with others and intense emotions, stress, trauma and psychic debris. This opens up the aura, causes energetic leakages, creates holes , spikes and imbalances.

Our chakra system is the wheels of energy that manage the flow of energy through our bodies and is connected to our Aura. If the chakras become blocked, the life force energy can no longer flow freely and emotional and physical imbalance occurs.

We will use the Universal Life Force energy of Reiki to help us restore balance. The meditation will include a temporary heart attunement to kickstart the flow of Reiki in your own hands. The Aura Cleansing & Chakra Balancing Meditation will include balancing of out-of-balance chakras, facilitating the alignment of chakras, cleansing of the aura, followed by a Reiki self-healing session. You will be taught how to ground yourself, how to define, cleanse and protect your aura, and how to channel your thoughts in a more positive direction.

A weekly practice will help you feel more centred, balanced, peaceful and grounded!

Manifestation meditation is a practice that combines the positive thinking of manifesting with the ancient practice of meditation. Manifestation meditation is a self-help approach to achieving goals through visualization and intentional thought. During manifestation meditation, you utilize meditative techniques and power of your emotions and imagination to focus on visualizing goals and outcomes. The hope is that it will help align your thoughts and emotions so that you’ll be better prepared to bring about the changes you hope to see in your life. Practicing manifesting regularly will not only help you start achieving the life that you desire but will also help reduce Stress and Anxiety, increased performance, increased mental clarity and generally develop a more positive mindset.

Join us in this Sound and Gong bath complemented with aromatherapy and let the stresses of life melt away with ease as you bath in a sea of sound healing vibrations.

Shirley begins the session with an aromatherapy breathing meditation to guide the body and mind into relaxation. After giving an individual aura cleansing, it will be followed by the full moon Himalayan Singing bowls and Gong bath to take you into a deep relaxation state. The theme of each session varies, although it’s a group session, each individual will receive the respective healing and support they require for that moment.

Designed for both beginners and practitioners, the sound bath meditation allows you to experience a deep meditative state that enhances deep relaxation and healing.
The essential oils used in the session are certified pure and therapeutic grade.

We will use various techniques within breathwork to achieve specific outcomes, such as stress reduction, increased focus, or emotional release.

This practice involves using crystals, which are believed to have certain energies and properties, to facilitate meditation and healing. Practitioners will be guided to place crystals on their body or hold them in their hands. The idea is that different crystals resonate with different energies and can help align and balance one’s own energy fields. This can lead to a deeper meditative state, enhanced spiritual awareness as well as a sense of emotional healing, clarity and well-being.

Trauma Centre Trauma Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY) is developed at the Trauma Centre at the Justice Resource Institute in the US by David Emerson and David Emerson and trauma expert, Dr Bessel van der Kolk, and the programs are solidly based in trauma, attachment theory, neuroscience, and yoga. Centered in practices of invitation, choice, and mindful body awareness (interoception), Trauma Sensitive Yoga can help people who are living with trauma to release tension, strengthen their sense of self by learning to tolerate physical sensations. Interoception, is directly correlated to how well we can regulate our emotions, and hence our subsequent susceptibility to mental health problems such as anxiety and depression.

THE SCIENCE BEHIND TCTSY : According to research, yoga has greater beneficial effects in alleviating traumatic stress symptoms as the best possible medications. One study with a group of women who had suffered domestic violence, and were exposed to a 12-week trauma sensitive yoga course of one class a week, showed a reduction in severity of PTSD symptoms and frequency of dissociative symptoms, and gains in vitality and body attunement.
